FIRST Lego League Robotics Competition

For the third year in a row, I’ve had the pleasure of doing the event photography for a local youth project here in Cache Valley, where kids build and program Lego robots and compete to have them accomplish various tasks. The competition also involves an educational component. This year, the theme was “Animal Allies”, and the 18 teams we had learned about conservation problems in the animal world, and attempted to come up with novel solutions. As usual, there was plenty to photograph, both with the robot competition, the interviews with judges, and all of the fun everyone was having! This was all held at USU’s Edith Bowen School in Logan, Utah this past weekend. The full set of images from the event is available on Facebook or in my online gallery.
